We Have Opportunities For Online Teachers

 

We have opportunities in Online teaching for our expanding private and group online classes.  If you are a talented musician and think you would find teaching others fun, exciting and rewarding,  we are interested in talking to you.

We will train and coach you as you learn the skills need to be a successful online teacher using our exclusive and proprietary systems.  You will start with beginning students until you gain the confidence you need for more advanced students.  Some teachers just want new beginners and keep those students as they progress.  Your online students can also transition to private lessons here in our studios. So if your interested, we should get to know each other.

 

While we do not always have positions immediately available, we consistently add teachers as our enrollment grows throughout the year, so opportunities are always on the horizon.

 

We are the areas largest private music teaching school with over 400 students attending classes.  We began teaching in 1976 and have taught tens of thousands of students during that time.  We cater mainly to children. About 70% of our students are between 8 and 16 years old. We also welcome adults and teens which comprise about 30% of our student base.  During Covid-19 all private lessons were done online, but we are now open for in-studio lessons as well.

We are expanding our online lessons to group lessons as an alternate opportunity for students who prefer that method.

 

While we realize that most of our students will not become professional musicians, we strive to provide a fun and educational environment with well-organized administration, talented and fun teachers, first-rate equipment and competitive tuition.  The emphasis is always on student progress and fun.

We provide our full and part time teachers a great place to apply and improve their skills.

Whether you are taking over for another teacher or starting your own schedule, we will be sure that you are properly oriented to what we do and how we do it.  We want our partnership to be the best match possible.

 

Technology

 

We use the latest technology in our studios.  You will receive your weekly schedule via email on Monday morning and  each day you will get an updated schedule for that day.  You can also check your schedule 24x7 on line with our teacher app.  Communications and record keeping are done in our secure portal.  Wireless devices are provided  in each studio, or you can use your own.

Online Tools and Location

​

You will be using Zoom to conduct your online classes.  Teachers online should be fun, do well on camera, willing to learn or already be comfortable with video technology, and be open to new ideas.

 

Our online lessons are for all age groups and have different options.  Our online teachers can choose the classes they want to teach. 

 

This position can be done from your home or in our studios, and can be combined with live in-person private lessons in our studios.
