If you are a talented musician and think you would find teaching others fun, exciting and rewarding,  we are interested in talking to you.

Many of our most successful teachers started their first teaching job right here. Everyone has to start somewhere, and our business might be the best place.  We will train and coach you as you learn the skills need to be a successful teacher.  You will start with beginning students until you gain the confidence you need for more advanced students.  Some new teachers just want new beginners and keep those students as they progress.  So if your interested, we should get to know each other.

 

While we do not always have positions immediately available, we consistently add teachers as our enrollment grows throughout the year, so opportunities are always on the horizon.

 

We are the areas largest private music teaching school with over 400 students attending classes.  We began teaching in 1976 and have taught tens of thousands of students during that time.  We cater mainly to children. About 70% of our students are between 8 and 16 years old. We also welcome adults and teens which comprise about 30% of our student base.

 

While we realize that most of our students will not become professional musicians, we strive to provide a fun and educational environment with well-organized administration, talented and fun teachers, first-rate equipment and competitive tuition.  The emphasis is always on student progress and fun.

We provide our full and part time teachers a great place to apply and improve their skills.

 

Competitive Pay
 

We provide competitive pay structured on both a base rate per student, and performance incentive. We also provide periodic cost of living wages.  

 

Paid Vacation
 

Our full and part-time teachers accrue paid time off equivalent to their weekly teaching schedule.  Teach two days you get two days of paid time off.  Teach four days and you get four days off.  Pretty simple.

 

Recitals
 

We have a minimum of two recitals each year.  Any teacher may enter their students and are encouraged to do so. We cover all of the costs relating to the recital and even pay you to attend.

 

Taxes
 

Teachers are our employees and we do all the work for your weekly check and your W-2 at the end of the year. In addition we provide the employer tax match.  No more quarterly payments or surprise tax bills at year end.

 

Administration, Marketing and More
 

We provide all administrative functions, handle all customer service matters like cancellations, makeup scheduling, payments, advertising and collections.

 

Simple IRA

When you qualify, you can participate in our Simple-IRA program.  We match your contributions according to Federal Guidelines.

 

Get Paid For Every Lesson
 

Yes, we pay you for every scheduled student even if they don't show up and even if they don't pay.  We believe that regardless of the number of students you teach, you deserve a reliable income for the time you spend.

 

Effective On-boarding

 

Whether you are taking over for another teacher or starting your own schedule, we will be sure that you are properly oriented to what we do and how we do it.  We want our partnership to be the best match possible.

 

Technology

 

We use the latest technology in our studio.  You will receive your weekly schedule via email on Monday morning and  each day you will get an updated schedule for that day.  You can also check your schedule 24x7 on line with our teacher app.  Communications and record keeping are done in our secure portal.  Wireless devices are provided  in each studio, or you can use your own.

We take care of all the work, we provide the studio, you set your hours and are free to teach your students using your methods and techniques.
